2 slices fresh Tuna (About 3 cm thick, each 200-250 grams)
2 Tbsps lemon juice
salt

4 Tbsps olive oil
10 bay leaves
1 Tbsp butter
fresh bay leaves (and lemon wedges)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse tuna slices and briefly pat dry with paper towel. Mix 1 tablespoon lemon juice in a bowl with and 2 tablespoons olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place tuna in freezer bag, add halved bay leaves, pour lemon juice mixture over top, seal and marinate in the refrigerator for about 4 hours while turning occasionally.

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil with the butter in a pan.

Remove tuna slices from marinade and remove bay leaves, fry in the pan on each side for about 4 minutes.

Remove tuna from the pan, place on a preheated plate and season with and salt and pepper. Deglaze the pan with marinade (without bay leaves), bring to a boil and pour over tuna. Serve garnished with fresh bay leaves and lemon wedges.
